Tatarstan residents were invited to share their experience in implementing urban development projects

Residents of the republic are invited to participate in the preparation of the third part of the atlas of successful practices of co-participation and involvement of residents in the development of the urban environment. The project is being implemented with the support of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for the Promotion of New Projects.

Every citizen can share their positive experience of implementing projects with the involvement of residents. No more than 100 practices of involvement in projects developed in 2020 - 2021 will be selected in the atlas. It is planned that the cases included in the atlas will become a model of solutions for creating comfortable public areas throughout the country.

"The main value of the city is its inhabitants. They are the main users of urban space and the key recipients of its transformation. Therefore, modern cities that are comfortable for life and work should be created with the direct participation and thanks to the involvement of citizens," the organizers of the project noted.

Leading urbanists, architects and sociologists of the country will select the best project solutions.
