Tatarstan's experience in implementing projects can be replicated throughout Russia

Proposals from the region to improve measures to support entrepreneurship and the investment climate were heard today in Kazan. Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, and Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Economy of Tatarstan, met with entrepreneurs. 


During the meeting, business representatives presented the best projects, told about their achievements, and also put forward ideas and proposals to support entrepreneurs, improve the investment climate in the region and the country. The participants of the meeting were representatives of the business and expert community of various fields and areas of activity, which made it possible to form diverse proposals and opinions.


In particular, entrepreneurs proposed the formation of a personnel reserve of entrepreneurial projects and the creation of an acceleration program for future specialists, amendments to a number of legislative initiatives related to small and medium-sized businesses, the removal of restrictions on the deadline for granting microloans, simplification of the procedure for liquidation of legal entities, expansion of the list of subjects of the Russian Federation to participate in financing programs for the construction of industrial parks and other proposals.  


Also during the event, the experience of working with the GeCo resource through the eyes of the client was presented and a proposal was made for the replication of this tool in the subjects of Russia. Let us recall that the GeCo project is a service for managing delivery services, it was created by Ak Bars Bank, Open Service Company and the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In addition, a proposal was made from business to support export-oriented SMEs at different stages of companies' export activities.


In her speech, Svetlana Chupsheva noted that the meeting is held in order to receive feedback from entrepreneurs. She stressed that it is necessary to create such support measures that would satisfy the needs of entrepreneurs and contribute to further business development. At the same time, the legislation should not be punitive, but motivational. She also said that the best practices can be implemented and replicated throughout Russia.  
The event was attended by representatives of business communities - the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan, Support of Russia, Business Russia, the SME Association.
