Today the Cabinet of Ministers of RT held a briefing with the participation of the head of Tatarstan State Statistics N. V. Gataullina, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan - Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Monitoring R. D. Amirkhanov, Director of the ANCO "Information Resource Center of Volunteerism" A. I. Mubarakshin on the topic of the All-Russian Population Census 2020-2021 in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic - Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Monitoring Roman Amirkhanov informed in his speech that the results of the population census will form the basis for the development of national projects, social programs, will increase the effectiveness of targeted socio-economic policy. Therefore, it is important for every citizen of the republic to take part in the census and contribute to the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Roman Amirkhanov recalled that the All-Russian Population Census takes place at least once every 10 years, so this event gives an opportunity to assess the number of residents of the Russian Federation and their living conditions.
In addition, only census data is as reliable as possible to determine the population in all municipalities and localities. Information about the size and composition of the population is necessary for the formation of budgets at all levels.
"The information received will help to understand in which area and how many kindergartens, paramedic stations, libraries, museums, hospitals, educational institutions need to be built. The participation of every citizen in the census is important and necessary," Roman Amirkhanov added.
The Deputy Minister said that the census uses technologies that are as open and understandable to every citizen as possible. They will be able to choose how to provide information about themselves. You can take the census in the traditional way, when the census taker comes home, at the census sites, for example, at the MFC, also on the website of Public Services.
During the All-Russian Population Census in 2021, information will be collected that is difficult to obtain from other sources: this is data on the composition of households, birth rate, migration, and education of the population.
The All-Russian Population Census will be held from October 15 to November 14.
