The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan begins accepting applications for subsidizing electricity costs

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan begins accepting applications for subsidies to reimburse part of the costs of paying for electricity consumed from residents and management companies of accredited industrial (industrial) parks.

The support measure was developed in accordance with the concept of improving the efficiency of industrial parks of Tatarstan with occupancy rate below 70%, agreed by the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov. The concept also implies the alignment of competitive opportunities between parks located in rural areas and large cities, where business activity is much higher.

As part of the implementation of the concept, a number of legislative initiatives were previously adopted in the Republic of Tatarstan, which allow small and medium-sized businesses to take advantage of both subsidizing part of electricity costs and the following tax benefits - reducing tax rates under the simplified taxation system (the rate on income is 1%, on income minus expenses – 5%), exemption from payment of transport tax and corporate property tax.

Also, residents and management companies of industrial parks can count on receiving a Construction loan for the creation, modernization and (or) reconstruction of industrial buildings, municipal and road infrastructure facilities up to 30 million rubles at 5% for up to 5 years, microloans at 4.5 % per annum.

In order to take advantage of these benefits, an entrepreneur must have an agreement on the implementation of activities on the territory of an industrial park with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the same time, the industrial park must be located in one of the municipal districts of the republic, with the exception of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny. The selection criterion is the occupancy rate of the industrial park – below 70%, the resident must pay taxes to the budget of Tatarstan and be an SME entity at the date of application submission, and the park itself must have the appropriate accreditation of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Applications for subsidies are accepted until October 29, 2021 at the State Institution "Center for the Implementation of Programs for the Support and Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan" at: Kazan, Moskovskaya str., 55, office 521.
