The resettlement of citizens from the housing stock recognized as emergency and unsuitable for living in the Republic of Tatarstan will be completed by the end of 2023 – 2 years earlier than previously planned.
The corresponding decision was made by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 588 dated 19.07.2021, which approved the Republican Targeted program for the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing stock for 2019-2023.
Let us remind that the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing stock is carried out within the framework of the regional project "Ensuring a sustainable reduction of the housing stock unsuitable for living" of the national project "Housing and the urban environment".
The following municipalities participate in the implementation of the regional project: Kazan, Agryzsky, Aktanyshsky, Arsky, Baltasinsky, Yelabuga, Zelenodolsk, Kukmorsky, Menzelinsky, Sabinsky and Chistopol municipal districts of the republic.
In total, it is planned to relocate 1.755 people from 654 residential premises with an area of 20.981.4 square meters.
The total amount of financial resources for the implementation of measures for the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing stock will amount to 1.120. 1 million rubles, which are formed at the expense of the State Corporation - the Fund for Assistance to the Reform of Housing and Communal Services – 741.2 million rubles, the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan – 370.4 million rubles and the budgets of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan – 8.5 million rubles.
The purchase of residential premises for the resettlement of emergency housing in Kazan is planned to be completed by the end of 2021: 454 people out of 146 apartments were resettled for the period 2019-2020, 100 apartments were purchased for the resettlement of 294 residents this year, another 267 apartments for 681 people are planned to be purchased by the end of 2021.
We recall that on August 24, 2021, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the congress of the United Russia Party supported the proposal to launch a new program for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing, recognized as such on January 1, 2021. In the whole country, this is more than 11 million square meters, for the settlement of which 45 billion rubles will be allocated in the draft federal budget for 2022 and the planning period of 2023 and 2024.
For reference: Emergency housing stock is a set of residential premises in apartment buildings that were recognized as emergency until January 1, 2017 in accordance with the established procedure and are subject to demolition or reconstruction due to physical wear during their operation.
