Comprehensive support measures for entrepreneurs were discussed at a meeting in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan

First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan-Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Competition Development Rustem Sibgatullin held a traditional meeting of the working group on the implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The agenda of the meeting includes comprehensive support measures for SMEs, the development of marketplaces, the transfer of public services to electronic form.

The first item on the agenda of the working group meeting was the discussion of the current economic situation related to the drought. During the meeting, measures to support farmers provided for in the republic in connection with adverse weather conditions were announced. Reports were made by the Menzelinsky, Buinsky, Nurlatsky and Yelabuga municipal districts of Tatarstan.

The development of e-commerce was also discussed at the meeting of the group. Inessa Yarullina, Executive Director of the ANO "Center for the Development of Electronic Commerce", made a report on this topic. The rapid development of online commerce has attracted almost all major online retailers operating in Russia to the republic. By 2024, according to experts, the online trading market will grow by 2.5 times. This is due to the fact that the republic ranks first in the Volga Federal District and seventh in the Russian Federation in terms of the number of small and medium-sized businesses.

Another issue on the agenda of the working group meeting was a set of support measures for small and medium-sized businesses, implemented by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The use of preferential financial instruments will allow to develop the activities of entrepreneurs in the districts more actively and safely.

Also at the meeting of the working group, the situation with the provision of municipal services in electronic form and the approval of updated administrative regulations, their provision, taking into account the optimization and digitalization of procedures, was discussed. Starting from July 2, 2021, 82 state and municipal services are available in electronic form on the portal of state services of the republic, 48 of them are state and 34 are municipal.
