The Ministry of Economy held a meeting on the development of competition in Tatarstan

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service for the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with the branch executive bodies of state power. 

The meeting was held in preparation for the meeting of the Republican Commission for the Development of Competition under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Andrey Rosenthal, Deputy Head of the Tatarstan Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, noted the importance and significance of one of the key tools for the development of the region – the development of competition. Creating favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship, stimulating entrepreneurial activity, reducing administrative barriers, improving the quality and accessibility of public services, and providing support is necessary in all sectors of the economy.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan presented their reports. They discussed the state and development of the competitive environment in the markets of goods, works and services of the Republic of Tatarstan, the current situation in the markets supervised by regional ministries according to the Action Plan ("roadmap") to promote competition in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019-2022, existing problems and ways to solve them.

The tasks for 2021 and the forecast of achieving the key indicators established by the federal Standard for the development of competition are defined.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Economy is the authorized executive body for promoting competition. Information on the implementation of the Standard in the Republic of Tatarstan, including the results of the annual monitoring of the state of the competitive environment in the markets of the Republic for 2020, is available on the official website of the Ministry in the section "Development of competition".
