The Ministry is working to include additional markets in the competition development roadmap

In order to develop a competitive environment, improve the quality of goods and services, as well as ensure the economic growth of the republic, the Ministry of Economy, together with the state authorities of the republic and public organizations, formed proposals for updating the roadmap for promoting competition in various sectors of the economy (approved by the decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 306 of 31.08.2019).

The changes will affect the expansion of the list of commodity markets by the markets of folk arts and crafts, fruit and berry crops, sports facilities, financial instruments, domestic tourism services, high-tech production. At the moment, 41 markets are included in the Roadmap.

This means that according to these markets, the responsible ministry or agency will develop an action plan with specific quantitative indicators that will improve the quality of services provided, develop the private sector, and further stimulate entrepreneurial activity.

To date, active work is underway to develop these measures.
