Center for Advanced Economic Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and Surgut State University agreed on a joint scientific study

In order to strengthen scientific cooperation with Russian partners, the Center for Advanced Economic Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and Surgut State University have agreed to implement a joint study of the development of the social sphere and the service sector in the northern oil and gas regions.

In the context of modern challenges, the need for economic diversification and the deployment of innovative processes, including in the field of state and non-state services, the parties identified the need for a comprehensive study of not only the level of development of the social sphere in the region, but also the prospects for the development of services, expanding the involvement of the non-state sector in the social sphere, issues of human capital as a key resource of a competitive economy, and a number of other priority areas in accordance with the national development goals of the country and territory.
