Tatarstan innovative construction project received support of 20 million rubles
An innovative project of a young scientist from Kazan, a resident of the Technopolis "Himgrad" Artem Barakhtin received support in the amount of 20 million rubles. The project allows you to print concrete structures for the construction of low-rise buildings on a 3D printer. The company of the Tatarstan citizen, "Arkodim" became the winner in the program "Development-STI" of the Innovation Assistance Fund in 2020. The program involves assistance in organizing mass production of innovative products and introducing them to the common market.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan provided an expert assessment of the project and support for participation in the Fund's program.
The Arkodim enterprise will direct the allocated funds to the development of structural, technological and software solutions designed to work as part of robotic complexes for the construction of low-rise buildings using additive technologies. In particular, the company plans to build houses using construction 3D printing. According to the scientist, such construction is promising, because it helps to reduce the cost and delivery time of the object. At the same time, there are already projects in the world for the construction of buildings using 3D printing with concrete in Dubai, Mexico and Russia. In general, the global market for concrete printing is growing and is used today in many countries.
The Republic of Tatarstan traditionally takes an active part in competitions and programs of the Foundation.
