Young entrepreneurs qualified for the WorldSkills Russia final
All-Russian qualifying competitions of the national championship of working professions "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia) were held in Yaroslavl. Three teams from Tatarstan advanced to the final in the areas of "Entrepreneurship (Juniors)", "Finance" and "Insurance Agent". The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan oversees the training of young professionals in these competencies.
From Tatarstan to the final of the IX national championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia) 2021 three teams passed in the competencies supervised by the Ministry of Economy. One of them is in the field of "Entrepreneurship (Juniors)". In the competition, the guys from Tatarstan showed an excellent result.
Tatarstan citizens have been preparing for the national championship for several months – they created a business project and began to develop it intensively, after winning the regional stage, they began preparing for the next stage – the qualifying competitions. Young entrepreneurs presented to the jury the project "Wood Space" – an online store that develops, produces and sells wooden constructors, as well as related wood products printed on a laser engraver, through online sales. The guys won, beating more than 20 competitors from the regions of Russia.
16-year-olds study together in one of the Kazan lyceums, and also actively develop themselves in the field of entrepreneurship. Alexey Korotkov is the vice-president of the school business company, Artem Kraus is engaged in 3D modeling.
"Entrepreneurship and high technology are two of my hobbies, which I managed to combine in my business together with Artem Kraus. Inside the lyceum, while attending Samsung School, I learned how to make applications, and my partner – to model, which is why Artem in our company is responsible for the production and creation of drawings, and I – for the marketing and development of our own online store. In training, at competitions, I get the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve my main goal – to become a successful entrepreneur," said Alexey Korotkov.
Now Tatarstan guys will compete in the final of the national championship, which will be held on July 21-25 in the Republic of Bashkortostan. There they will compete with the teams of the Moscow, Leningrad, Smolensk, Kursk, Tyumen regions, Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In addition, such competencies of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan as "Finance" and "Insurance Agent" passed to the final. We wish the guys good luck!
