Tatarstan business can take advantage of preferential equipment leasing

Micro and small businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan can purchase new equipment on the terms of preferential financial lease (leasing) at rates from 6% to 8% per annum. The preferential equipment leasing program is implemented by the Corporation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) through regional leasing companies. The event is aimed at achieving the goals of "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" national project.

"Preferential leasing is an important and convenient tool of state support. This is collateral-free financing. The security is the object of leasing itself, " said Emil Khismatov, Deputy Head of the Department for Competition and Entrepreneurship Development of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

For entrepreneurs, there are no restrictions on the choice of equipment and suppliers. Leasing financing is provided at preferential interest rates: 6% for Russian equipment and 8% for foreign equipment. The amount of funding for organizations registered or operating in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan ranges from 500 thousand rubles to 50 million rubles.

The leasing company independently purchases the necessary new equipment from the supplier and transfers it to the lessee for temporary use and possession, until the final payments under the lease agreement.

The peculiarity of this support measure is that the lessee can apply for the service without making the initial payment, provided that the guarantee of the regional guarantee organization is involved.

"At this stage, our Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan gets involved. After appropriate assessments, if necessary, we replace the advance payment with a guarantee, " Emil Khismatov added.

In addition, preferential leasing provides for loyal conditions for payments, and sets an individual frequency of payments based on the seasonality of the business.
