The meeting of the working group on the implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The members of the working group discussed the issues of grant support for innovative projects.
At the meeting of the working group held on April 27, it was announced what measures of state support are provided to scientists, innovators and research teams for the development of innovative projects.
In particular, it was informed at the meeting that the competitions "Start" and "Development of SOPR", held by the Foundation for the Promotion of Innovation, are to launch.
The winners of the competition can receive a grant from 3 million to 15 million rubles for the development of the project. Individuals and legal entities, as well as small innovative enterprises from the Republic of Tatarstan are invited to participate in the competition.
The competition "Development-SOPR" accepts innovative projects aimed at scientific and technical development and solving problems in the field of sports, urban environment, ecology, social entrepreneurship, etc. Applications are accepted until June 28, 2021.
Under the "Start" program, applications are accepted until May 31, 2021. The program is aimed at creating new and supporting existing small innovative enterprises that are at the initial stage of development.
By the end of 2020, more than 590 projects were announced from the republic and 119 projects worth more than 720 million rubles were supported. This is 11.2 % more than in 2019. The annual growth of applications is 5%.
"I ask the municipalities to bring the relevant information to the small and medium-sized businesses, to ensure their participation in the support measures implemented by the Innovation Assistance Fund," said Ravil Sirazeev, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Also at the meeting of the working group, Radmir Belyaev, First Deputy head of the Executive Committee of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a report on the achievement of forecast indicators for 2021, and representatives of ministries and departments of the republic reported about the growth reserves of the Nizhnekamsk district.
