Kazan schoolchildren took part in the All-Russian Olympiad on Financial Literacy
Tatarstan schoolchildren took part in the regional stage of the All-Russian Online Olympiad on Financial Literacy. In Russia festive occasions were held in 13 regions, including the Republic of Tatarstan. The Olympiad is primarily aimed at familiarizing students with the basics of personal finance management and provides practical skills in working with money that will be useful to them in their future work and life.
The Olympiad stage was held in Kazan Lyceum No. 5 with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Bank of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The event will expand the knowledge of students, their awareness, skills, attitudes related to finance and necessary for making informed financial decisions, as well as achieving personal financial well-being. In the future, young students will become young specialists, and the task of the event organizers is to help them realize themselves.
Participants will solve problems that are close to real business problems, learn how to compare and choose financial products, and protect themselves from fraudsters in the financial market.
Let us recall that the All-Russian online Olympiad "Young Entrepreneur and financial literacy" for students of grades 1-9 is held on the educational platform "UCHI.RU". The organizers of the Olympiad are also the Bank of Russia, with the assistance of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial Initiative" and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
