In Tatarstan, 8.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of "Demography" national project
According to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of the national project, funds are provided for financial support of families at the birth of children, employment promotion (including through the creation of additional places in kindergartens), the development of sports infrastructure, measures to maintain a healthy lifestyle and care for the elderly.
"Demography" national project consists of five regional projects, namely "Financial support for families at the birth of children" – 6.4 billion rubles, "Employment promotion" – 1.7 billion rubles, "Sports – the norm of life" – 272 million rubles, "The Older generation" – 91 million rubles, "Strengthening public health" – 12 million rubles.
Within the framework of "Financial support for families at the birth of children" regional project, it is planned to:
- payments in connection with the birth (adoption) of the first child;
- compensation of part of the parental fee for the supervision and care of the child in the kindergarten;
- providing special baby food products to children of the first three years of life who have chronic diseases, as well as from families in which the average per capita income does not exceed the subsistence minimum;
- one-time payment to women permanently residing in rural areas, urban-type settlements at the birth of the first or third child;
- benefits for families raising three or more children born at the same time;
- one-time remuneration to mothers awarded with the medal "Ana dany – Maternal Glory", to parents (adoptive parents) awarded with the "Parental Glory" medal.
"Promotion of Employment" regional project involves the creation of conditions for pre-school education for children under the age of three, in particular, the construction of 13 kindergartens. Currently, construction and installation work is underway at all the facilities. Also, within the framework of this regional project, measures to improve the efficiency of employment services are being implemented.
Within the framework of "Sport – the norm of life" regional project, a universal sports hall is being built in Kukmor; it is also planned to equip an open-type sports and recreation complex on Khimikov street in Kazan with sports equipment. Currently, the sports complex in Kukmor is undergoing work on the installation of internal and engineering networks, internal finishing works; the total area of the object is more than 4 thousand square meters. The total capacity of the facility will fit 600 athletes and 200 spectators.
In addition, thanks to the national project "Demography" in 2021, 10 sports schools will receive sports equipment, inventory and equipment in the amount of 37.9 million rubles (9 schools are located in Kazan and 1 in the village of Vvedenskaya Sloboda in the Verkhneuslonsky district of the republic). It is also planned to purchase minibuses for 5 republican sports schools of the Olympic reserve of Kazan and Verkhneuslonsky municipal district and sports and technological equipment for the creation of small sports grounds for preparation for the PTS in Kazan.
The implementation of the "Senior Generation" regional project involves the allocation of funds to increase the number of specialists in social work, the maintenance of day care units, the payment of nurses, as well as the implementation of the "Foster Family for the Elderly" project, the purchase of a vaccine for the prevention of pneumococcal infections in people over the working age.
The activities of "Strengthening Public Health" regional project are aimed at the prevention of non-communicable diseases, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and sanitary and hygienic education of the population.
As noted by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at the final board of the department: "The most important factor in ensuring economic growth is the development of human capital and improving the quality of life. This is what the implementation of national projects and national programs is aimed at."
