Tatarstan has chosen the best exporters in 2020

The best exporters of Tatarstan in 2020 were awarded today at the House of Entrepreneurs. The winners in 5 categories from among the representatives of small and medium-sized businesses were determined within "Exporter of the Year" annual competition.

Export activity in Russia is considered as one of the main factors of increasing sustainability and economic growth. The growth of total exports is also influenced by the entry of small and medium-sized enterprises into foreign markets.

Despite the unstable situation and uncertainty that persisted throughout the past year, the export activity of Russian companies was quite high, and the creation of conditions for doing business and support for this category of entrepreneurs at various stages of their export maturity are included in the implementation of national projects at both the federal and national levels.

The competition is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial Initiative" for the 4th year in a row. The competition is aimed at identifying the leaders of export activities among the SME of the republic and promoting the best experience and practice in foreign economic activity. This is a unique incentive for export-oriented enterprises, an opportunity to discover and fulfill their potential.

At the end of 2020, the winners were determined in 5 categories:

– The best export company in the field of industry – OOO Teko-Trading House. The company is engaged in the development, production and supply of equipment for security systems;

— The best export company in the field of services – OOO Scientific and Production Enterprise Hortum – Tatarstan plant-manufacturer of bellows expansion joints, manufactures finished metal products;

-The best company-exporter in the field of agro-industrial complex – OOO Elite. The exporter specializes in wholesale trade of grain, unprocessed tobacco, seeds and feed for farm animals;

— The best company-exporter in the field of high technologies – OOO Eidos-Medicine. The company conducts research and development activities, is engaged in developments in the field of natural and technical sciences;

- Breakthrough of the year – OOO ArtWay. The exporter provides services in the field of logistics and customs clearance.

The winners were awarded with diplomas and commemorative statuettes. In addition, they are granted the right to use the competition logo as an indicator confirming the high quality of products and services provided by them. Also, all the winners received certificates for teaching business English, which will help exporters to establish new foreign economic relations.

The competition is held by the Non-profit micro-credit company "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan" Union.
