The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to provide grant support to the self-employed. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Sibgatullin at a meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on Economy, Investment and Entrepreneurship.
Sibgatullin noted the importance of the development of the institution of self-employed citizens, which is reflected in the federal projects as part of the national SME project. In general, according to Sibgatullin, in 2021, federal projects have undergone significant changes. The development of entrepreneurship is formed in four directions, one of which, is the creation of favorable conditions for the implementation of activities by self-employed citizens.
It is worth noting that the increase in the self-employed is observed in all municipalities of Tatarstan, which indicates the attractiveness and convenience of this form of business. Currently, more than 112 thousand self-employed people are registered in the republic. Their total income reached 18.1 billion rubles, the amount of taxes paid is more than 490 million rubles. High indicators certainly indicate that this tax regime contributes to a reduction in the share of clandestine employment in the republic.
The Deputy Minister noted that in the current conditions, the main task is to further develop and provide comprehensive measures of state support to this category of citizens. To this end, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan developed a number of support measures in 2020, such as: microloans; guarantees; holding on a permanent basis exhibition and fair events, forums, training webinars.
Also in 2021, the implementation of financial support mechanisms will continue, in addition, grant support for the self-employed will be introduced.
Subordinate to Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan, entrepreneurship support Fund has changed the terms of the microloan under the "Self-employed" programm, in particular, reduced the minimum rate on the loan, and also relaxed the conditions for the provision of pledged collateral.
For citizens who meet the requirements of the program, up to 500 thousand rubles are available for a period of 3 to 24 months for any costs justified by the borrowers necessary to carry out activities, the income from which is subject to the "Self-employment tax", at a rate equal to half of the key Central Bank of the Russian Federation at the time of application submission to 6%.
