The export volume of Tatarstan manufacturers amounted to more than $33 million. The Head of development of institutions for subjects of small and medium entrepreneurship support of the Department for development of entrepreneurship and competition, RT Ministry of Economy, Arthur Gainov, informed about that at the "Promoting the products of the Republic of Tatarstan producers to the markets of the Russia regions and abroad" briefing. 

Since the beginning of the implementation of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative", 182 entrepreneurs from the republic started exporting their goods. The total export volume of Tatarstan manufacturers supported by the Export Support Center amounted to more than $33 million.

"It should be noted that in 2021, eight new companies have already entered the export market, seven of them have launched by virtue of to e-commerce channels,"  Artur Gainov stated.

According to him, e-commerce is becoming particularly relevant. Currently, about 5 thousand entrepreneurs, whose total sales turnover amounted to 4.2 billion rubles, carry out their activities in Tatarstan on well-known electronic trading platforms, such as Ozon, Wildberries, and KazanExpress.

In addition, for export-oriented representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in Tatarstan, a microloan of up to 5 million rubles with a rate from 1% to 4.25% was developed.

"For export-oriented representatives of SME, the Ministry of Economy has developed and will launch a new microfinance product in the near future. Under the terms of the program for this group of recipients, the purpose of the loan should be the implementation of export activities," said Gainov.

Under the terms of the program, the loan term for the new microloan will be up to two years, and the interest rate will depend on the size of the export contract.
