Midhat Shagiakhmetov: the expansion of sales markets and export potential is a stimulating factor for ensuring economic development

The Board of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan "Results for 2020. Tasks for 2021. Factors of ensuring economic development" was held today in Kazan. Within the framework of the Board, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov noted that the stimulating factor for ensuring economic development is the expansion of sales markets and export potential. 

In general, the target parameter for the volume of exports in the republic this year is 10 billion dollars. 

"In 2020, online trading has become particularly relevant for entrepreneurs as part of the expansion of the sales market.  Currently, about 5 thousand entrepreneurs of the republic carry out their activities on such electronic trading platforms as Ozon, Wildberries and KazanExpress, with a total sales turnover of 4.2 billion rubles. For the current year, we have a task to increase them by 2 times," the Minister of Economy said.  

In this regard, the awareness of entrepreneurs will be increased and their participation in training events will be ensured.
