The Ministry of Economy has compiled a rating of socio-economic development of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2020

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has formed a monthly rating of socio-economic development of municipal districts and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-December of 2020.

In the overall rating for 2020, Kazan, Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk districts took the leading positions.

Tetyushsky municipal district rose in the ranking by 12 positions. This change is due to a decrease in the unemployment rate, an increase in the volume of investments in fixed assets, gross agricultural output and tax and non-tax income.

Per capita, the volume of products shipped in the republic averaged 697.2 thousand rubles. Among the municipalities of the republic, the highest results in this indicator are in Almetyevsk (4113.5 thousand rubles), Nizhnekamsk (1691.4 thousand rubles) and Yelabuga (1573.1 thousand rubles) districts.

As of January 1, 2021, the registered unemployment rate in the republic was 1.9%. In 37 municipalities this indicator is lower than the national average.

The lowest unemployment rate was registered in Aktanyshsky (0.29%), Alekseevsky (0.37%) and Rybno-Slobodsky (0.4%) municipal districts.

In January-December 2020, 0.687 square meters of total housing area per capita were commissioned in the Republic of Tatarstan. The largest area was put into operation in Pestrechinsky (4.518 square meters), Laishevsky (4.067 square meters) and Tukaevsky (2.983 square meters) districts.
