Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in a meeting with CEO of Coca-Cola HBC Russia Company
Today the president of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with CEO of Coca-Cola HBC Russia Alexander Ruzhevich. The meeting was held on site of Gaidar Forum 2021 in Moscow. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov participated in the event.
Meeting attendees addressed the questions of preparation for and holding of Special Olympic World Winter Games that Kazan will host in 2022. It is going to be the first time when Russia carries out these games. Coca‑Cola Company already became an official partner of this socially important sports event.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Coca‑Cola Company consistently endorses largest events that are being held in the Republic. “We have a great opportunity to show that our country not just supports sport but also supports such sports social sectors as Special Olympic World Winter Games”, - the President of Tatarstan pointed out.
During the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov and Alexander Ruzhevich also discussed joint environmental initiatives implementation. In 2019 the Republic of Tatarstan and Coca-Colа Company signed the culture development agreement of accumulation and collection of solid municipal waste in accordance with which
separate waste collection infrastructure in Tatarstan is being improved for its further recycling; eco-educational projects are being implemented as well.
Alexander Ruzhevich in return thanked the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for personal attention to company’s projects.
