Midkhat Shagiakhmetov summed up the results of the meetings in 2020 of the working group on implementation of the Action Plan to ensure sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan

The Ministry of Economy hosted this year final meeting of the working group on implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan amid a worsening situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection, volatility in oil prices and the dollar exchange rate. The event was held in videoconferencing mode under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov. The Minister briefly dwelled on the results of work in 2020. Let us recall that the working group was created on March 23, 2020 in order to organize and coordinate activities to implement the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the context of a worsening situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection, volatility in oil prices and the dollar exchange rate. During this year, 80 meetings of the working group were held. Some of results of its activities were announced within the framework of Saturday meetings with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. The working group discussed the problems of enterprises in connection with the spread of the new coronavirus infection and proposals for their solution. As a result, new republican measures to support enterprises and organizations of the republic were developed, work was organized to inform enterprises about federal and republican support measures. As part of the performances of municipalities at meetings of the working group, monitoring of prices and availability of basic socially significant goods and monitoring of the situation on the labor market is ensured. One of the priority issues of the working group in 2020 in connection with the need for entrepreneurs to switch from UTII to other taxation regimes from 2021 was informing UTII payers about the need to choose an alternative taxation regime by the end of 2020. To do this, within the framework of the working group, monitoring of work in municipalities was organized to inform payers and their transition to other tax regimes. Summing up the activities of the group in 2020, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov thanked everyone for their work. The Minister noted that at the same time, many tasks have to be solved. First of all, in terms of ensuring the fulfillment of the forecast indicators, on the basis of which the consolidated budget of the Republic of Tatarstan was formed. Midkhat Shagiakhmetov asked the members of the working group, municipalities of the republic to take an active part in the activities of the group, initiate topics for consideration at the meetings, raise existing problems in a timely manner in order to solve them jointly. Today, within the framework of the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan (on situation with prices in the construction materials market) and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan (on provision of services without using extracts from the house book and certificates of family composition) were heard.
