The Ministry of Economy held a meeting with participants of the regional championship “Young Professionals” (Worldskills Russia)
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov met with participants of the regional championship “Young Professionals” (Worldskills Russia) of the championship cycle 2020/2021, and also awarded the winners and organizers of the VIII National Championship “Young Professionals” ( Worldskills Russia) 2020 in the Entrepreneurship (Juniors) competency.
The Minister noted that the Worldskills Championship proves its importance every year, both the number of participants and the number of competencies are growing every year.
In the championship cycle 2020/2021, the Ministry of Economy is the curator of competencies in the following areas: “Entrepreneurship”, “Entrepreneurship (Juniors)”, “Insurance Agent”, “Internet Marketing”, “Finance”, “Advertising”, “Life Cycle Management/Management program”. These competencies are aimed at developing professional and personal skills: team management, public speaking, improving financial and economic knowledge, developing communication and presentation skills, the ability to analyze risks, developing business processes and the foundations of entrepreneurship.
“Worldskills is a tool for training personnel in accordance with international standards and the needs of new high-tech industries. Worldskills is not just a competition, it is an opportunity to prove yourself and get support from the largest organizations”, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov emphasized.
Olga Silantyeva, Director of the State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution “College of Small Business and Entrepreneurship”, noted that the team of the republic in the competencies “Entrepreneurship” and “Entrepreneurship. Juniors” is among the leaders among the regions of Russia. The highest result that the republic is proud of is the victory at EuroSkills Budapest 2018.
Worldskills winners and participants, as practice has shown, find themselves in the field of economics and business.
Those who were at the meeting with the Minister of Economy today also plan to set high standards. The participants made a presentation of their business projects, most of which were in the field of e-commerce. Midkhat Shagiakhmetov highly appreciated the ideas of young professionals and noted that this is a promising direction, and wished the guys not to stop there.
In the near future, the guys will start training days. In order to gain championship experience, it is planned that the winning teams will participate in the open regional championship “Young Professionals” in the city of Lipetsk from February 1 to February 12, 2021.
The qualifying championship for the right to participate in the Final of the IX National Championship “Young Professionals” (Worldskills Russia) will be held in March. The best will advance to the Final, which will take place in July 2021.
