A business breakfast “Strong Tatarstan. Growth points. Place of business” took place today at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in it. In his speech, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov stressed that the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry are in close cooperation. “When the pandemic began, we discussed on a daily basis what needs to be done in order to preserve our business, which found itself in a difficult situation”, he said. “Those unprecedented measures to support entrepreneurship, provided by the Government of the country and the republic, allowed us to preserve business”. The Minister of Economy said that the number of people employed in the small and medium-sized business sector remained at the level of last year, for which he thanked the representatives of business, who retained their labor staff. As part of the event, the results of 2020 were summed up, and membership cards were awarded to entrepreneurs.
