Traditional New Year charity fair of school business companies was held in Tatarstan

The traditional New Year charity fair of school business companies of Tatarstan this year was held on December 24 at the site of the Children’s City KidSpace. 9 companies from different schools of the city gathered at the Fair.

The organizers of the annual fair are the public organization Kazan Center “Junior Achievement”, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Entrepreneurship Support Fund, the Children's City KidSpace, the Ministry of Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The participants of the fair are teams of schoolchildren studying entrepreneurship within the framework of the School Company workshop on economics of the international non-profit movement “Junior achievement”. Throughout the academic year, children implement business projects in their educational institutions and learn basic entrepreneurial competencies in practice.

The fair presented a wide selection of New Year's souvenirs and products of school companies - holiday sets, decorative wreaths, candles, Christmas decorations, popular shopping bags, and sets for creativity. Fair guests noted the excellent quality and reasonable prices of young entrepreneurs. The fair has developed its own circle of regular customers who, year after year, purchase gifts for their loved ones at this Charity event.

The grand opening of the New Year's Fair was attended by:

Gainov Artur Askhatovich - Head of the Department for the Development of Institutions for Supporting Small and Medium-Sized Businesses of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Garayeva Anna Grigorievna - Head of the Department of Social Projects and Professional Self-Realization of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Elena Petrovna Tikhonova - Director of the Children's City of KidSpace.

Bikchentaeva Lyalya Dmitrievna - Executive Director of the public organization “Kazan Center “Junior Achievement”.

The fair's charitable collection amounted to 32,211.50 rubles (the total revenue of all 9 companies is a little more than 54 thousand rubles). All funds will be donated to the “Ak Bars Sozidanie” Charitable Foundation.
