More than 160 creative materials from 52 journalists were submitted this year to the Contest of journalistic works of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan. The authors of the best works were awarded in Kazan in the House of the Entrepreneur.
Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Shamsiyev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted the significant work of the media representatives. “Despite the difficult period of the pandemic, you managed to inform business and citizens on time about support measures. An event such as a contest of journalistic works is a very important event, since it gives an opportunity to evaluate the multifaceted and voluminous work that each of you does every day throughout the year to create an information picture of everyday life”, he said.
The significant journalistic work carried out in 2020 was also emphasized by a member of the jury of the contest committee, Chairman of the Commission of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on establishing the identity of the texts of laws in the Tatar and Russian languages, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Rimma Ratnikova. She noted that the pandemic hit small and medium-sized businesses hard and it needed special support. Therefore, timely receipt of information was very important for them, and the media played an important role in this. Assessing the work of the participants of the contest, Rimma Ratnikova noted that the materials were decent, deep and professional.
This year the nominations: “Finance for Business”, “Infrastructure for Business” and “Support for Business” caused the greatest response among the participants of the contest. It was in these nominations that the most work was received from journalists, and the jury determined two winners at once in these nominations.
The authors of the best works in the “Finance for Business” nomination are: Yulia Amochaeva (TatCenter) and Ekaterina Larionova (Tatar-inform);
in the “Infrastructure for Business” nomination: Fanil Mavletov (Saba Tannary), Irina Egorova (KazanFirst);
in the “Support for Business” nomination: Veronika Latypova (“Republic of Tatarstan”) and Gulia Faizova (“Tugan Yak”);
Tatyana Renkova (RBC) was recognized as the winner in the “Best Start” nomination;
in the “Energy for Business” nomination - Ainur Valiakhmetov (State TV and Radio Company “Tatarstan”);
in the “Land for Business” nomination - Alfiya Mukhametova (“Aktanysh-inform”);
in the “Business People” nomination - Yuri Tagarov (“Zelenodolskaya Pravda”);
in the “Stress-free Testing” nomination - Elena Davydova (radio station “Business FM”);
in the “Protection for Business” nomination - Oksana Sotnik (RBC);
in the “Space for Business” nomination - Eleonora Rylova (“Realnoe Vremya”);
in the “Investments for Business” nomination - Rustam Kilsinbayev (TASS);
in the “Information for Business” nomination - Olga Latypova (radio station “Business FM”);
