Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan issued the first microloan under the “Start” program. The issuance of microloans at a reduced rate for students and graduates of republican universities became available thanks to the package of support measures for SMEs, developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and approved by the President of the Republic, aimed at economic recovery.
The first loan at a preferential, equal to key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation was issued to a young entrepreneur, a graduate student of KGASU from Aktanysh. The funds received will be used to expand the business. The loan amount was 300 thousand rubles for a period of 24 months.

Under the terms of the program, a microloan is issued for any expenses justified by the borrowers for business purposes. The loan amount is from 100 to 500 thousand rubles for a period of 3 to 24 months at an interest equal to 4.25%.
