The online stage of the XIX All-Russian Forum “Strategic Planning in Regions and Cities of Russia” was launched today

The Forum is held annually and serves as the main platform for discussing methods and mechanisms of strategic planning and discussions on implementation of strategies for regions and cities of the Russian Federation.

The opening of the Forum took place with a roundtable meeting “Market Leaders 2020 or a Special Parade of Strategists”, moderated by Boris Zhikharevich, Director of the Strategic Planning Resource Center at the Leontief Center.

The online roundtable meeting was attended by representatives of the Center for Applied Research and Development of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” in St. Petersburg, “Scientific Research” OOO, the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization for Urban and Regional Development “URBEX-Development”, OOO “Institute of Territorial Planning “Grad”, Consortium Leontief Center - AV Group, Company “Financial and Organizational Consulting”, Center for Regional Development Strategies of Institute of Applied Economic Research of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, Autonomous non-profit organization “Institute of Regional Consulting".

In the period from 20 to 30 October, it is planned to hold a number of discussions and round tables, including the round table “International cooperation for regional development”, the section “National development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030. New role of national projects as a driver for recovery of Russian economy”. Plenary session of the forum will discuss the issue “How to ensure sustainable development in the period of instability”.
