This was due to the need for the region to fulfill federal indicators, instructions from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In addition, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has been forming a monthly rating of socio-economic development of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2010. The rating includes 14 absolute and relative indicators that characterize the development of the economy, the standard of living of the population and the state of the social sphere in each municipality.
