More than 6,500 Tatarstan residents are employed at TASED enterprises

The largest number of new jobs (over 5,000) was created by residents of the “Naberezhnye Chelny” TASED.

Today there are 5 territories of advanced social and economic development (TASED) in Tatarstan: “Naberezhnye Chelny”, “Nizhnekamsk”, “Chistopol”, “Zelenodolsk” and “Mendeleyevsk”. They have 81 registered residents. The total volume of investments by residents amounted to 15.5 billion rubles, including 13.5 billion rubles of capital investments (excluding VAT).

The launch of production in 5 single-industry towns of Tatarstan, in particular, is aimed at creating new jobs. Now more than 6,500 Tatarstan citizens are employed at the TASED enterprises. More than 5,000 of them work for the TASED “Naberezhnye Chelny”. Where 1,100 residents of Chelny work at factories for the production of refrigerators and washing machines, 1,100 - in a company for the production of construction fittings, about 800 - at a plant for the production of pipes for the oil and gas industry.

Implementation of investment projects at “Zelenodolsk” TASED has created 560 new jobs, at “Chistopol” TASED - about 510. “Nizhnekamsk” TASED residents created 390 jobs, “Mendeleyevsk” TASED - 36 new jobs.

It is planned that the functioning of five TASEDs will allow implementing more than 140 new investment projects within 10 years, creating more than 17.9 thousand new jobs and attracting 67.2 billion rubles of investments to the republic's economy.
