Tatarstan became one of the leading regions in terms of the activity of supporting NPOs

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation presented a rating of the country's constituent entities based on the results of implementation of support mechanisms for SONPO and social entrepreneurship in 2019. Tatarstan took the second line of the rating. The first place was taken by the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra.

The rating was compiled in conjunction with the autonomous non-profit organization Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects and is divided into the following categories: leaders, regions - candidates for leadership, regions with an average level, regions making their first steps towards success and regions with the greatest growth potential.

The key evaluation criteria were: the number of SONPOs per 10 thousand population; their tax support; the share of regional budgetary allocations submitted for the provision of subsidies for implementation of measures to create an infrastructure for supporting socially oriented non-profit organizations, including centers of social innovation, in the total expenditures of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation; the share of employees in non-governmental organizations in the total number of employees employed in the social sphere (%); the proportion of the number of children of private preschool educational organizations in the total number of children of preschool educational organizations; the share of nongovernmental medical organizations participating in implementation of the territorial compulsory health insurance program in the total number of relevant medical organizations, the share of nongovernmental social service organizations in the total number of social service organizations of all forms of ownership included in the register of social service providers of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation (%) and etc.
