Acceptance of applications for the “Best Social Project of the Year” competition has started

The acceptance of applications for the All-Russian Competition of Projects in the Field of Social Entrepreneurship “The Best Social Project of the Year” has started. It is initiated by the Russian State Social University and supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and ANO “Russia - the Country of Opportunities”.

The competition is aimed at finding and identifying the best projects of social entrepreneurship entities engaged in socially oriented activities aimed at achieving socially useful goals, improving the living conditions of a citizen and (or) expanding his ability to independently provide his basic life needs, as well as to provide employment, provide support to disabled people, elderly citizens and people in difficult life situations.

The competition will be held in two stages - regional and federal. Social enterprises can take part in the competition; SMEs implementing projects in the field of social entrepreneurship in accordance with the criteria of 209-FZ of July 24, 200, as well as those entrepreneurs whose activities are aimed at solving social problems of society; SONPO registered and operating in the Russian Federation and submitted to the Competition active projects in the field of social entrepreneurship, as well as conducting work that generates income.

The best practices will be included in the Catalog of projects “Social Entrepreneurship in Russia”. Also, the winners will be awarded a commemorative award, they will be provided with information and financial support in promoting the project.

The competition will be held in the following nominations for small and medium-sized businesses:

1) The best project of social entrepreneurship in the field of support and rehabilitation of people with disabilities;

2) The best project of social entrepreneurship in the field of social services;

3) The best project of social entrepreneurship in the field of additional education and upbringing of children;

4) The best project of social entrepreneurship in the cultural and educational sphere;

5) The best project of social entrepreneurship in the field of a healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sports;

6) The best project of social entrepreneurship in the field of social tourism;

7) The best project of social entrepreneurship in development of technical means of rehabilitation and IT technologies aimed at solving social problems of society;

8) The best project of social entrepreneurship in the field of employment, involving people in need of social support in socially active activities.

for SONPO:

1) The best social project of a non-profit organization in the field of additional education and upbringing of children;

2) The best social project of a non-profit organization aimed at solving problems in the field of caring for the elderly;

3) The best social project of a non-profit organization in the field of social services.

4) The best social project of a non-profit organization in development of urban and rural areas.

Let us recall that the All-Russian competition of projects in the field of social entrepreneurship “The Best Social Project of the Year” has been held since 2015, since last year the Competition has been one of the flagship projects of the President's platform “Russia – the Country of Opportunities”. During implementation of the Competition, more than 3,500 authors of projects submitted their applications, more than 50 projects became winners of the federal stage of the Competition, more than 1.5 thousand projects became finalists of the regional stage of the Competition.
