Minister of Economy met with entrepreneurs of Agryzskiy district
The Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to the Agryzskiy district of Tatarstan. The Minister held a meeting with representatives of the business community. During a conversation with business, the Minister of Economy answered questions from entrepreneurs, and also spoke about a new additional package of support measures.
On August 24, the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan launched additional measures to support business, aimed at restoring and reviving the republic’s economy. The Minister noted that today the department has formed a new approach to the selection and assessment of measures to support entrepreneurs - the new package of measures is designed for the widest possible audience of entrepreneurs. Organizations from the real sector of the economy can become recipients of support.
One of the requests received from Agryzskiy entrepreneurs was the issue of developing new support measures for self-employed residents of the republic. In June of this year, the Federal Law was adopted, extending to self-employed citizens financial, property, information, consulting and educational support measures, as well as measures provided by the SME Corporation AO, which are currently available to SMEs.
Also Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted that currently the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan is working on formation of an additional package of support measures aimed at citizens who have chosen the “Tax on professional income”. The package is planned to include the provision of financial, property, information and consulting and other services that will be available after the adoption of the relevant amendments to federal regulations this fall.
The next stop during the Minister's working trip was a visit to the Agryz locomotive depot. The transport hub ensures the effective development of a competitive transport business at the Gorky Railway range, the core of which is the safe and efficient execution of tasks for the transportation of goods and passengers. In addition, the depot provides high-quality servicing of customers’ traction rolling stock throughout the entire life cycle, providing maintenance and current repairs of over 130 locomotive sections per month. The depot is actively developing with the attraction of investments, so in 2019, 24 new locomotives were purchased with a total value of more than 5 billion rubles, and 17 more - this year.
The Minister also visited one of the district’s budget-forming enterprises, the Agryz Meat Processing Plant. The plant has been operating in the field of meat processing since 2011. The average number of employees exceeds 200 people. The production facilities of the company are located at the industrial site “Agryz-Razvitie”. The main consumers of the products are state and municipal enterprises of the country. Representatives of the plant shared with the Minister of Economy plans for the development of the enterprise, in particular for the purchase of high-performance equipment for the production and storage of meat products, which will increase revenue, as well as create additional jobs.
