From August 24 Center for Implementation of Programs for Support and Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan subordinated to the Ministry of Economy, is completing the acceptance of applications from businesses under the program of 100% subsidizing of costs associated with payment for services for the delivery of food and ready-made meals. Since the launch of the program, the department has satisfied applications from entrepreneurs of the republic involved in catering and the sale of food and drinks, for a total of 28 million rubles.
Let us recall that the program for 100% subsidizing of costs associated with payment for the services of aggregators for the delivery of food and meal was launched by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on April 27 in response to restrictions caused by COVID-19, and was included in the package of republican measures to support small and medium-sized businesses, approved by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The program was aimed at maintaining efficiency and employment in the catering segment, which was among the first to feel the negative impact of the pandemic.
In the context of the ban on work in Tatarstan public catering enterprises, it became necessary to organize the delivery of ready-made meals, semi-finished products and food products at minimal costs for business, which formed the basis of training webinars from the Ministry of Economy, and was also taken into account when forming the republican package of anti-crisis measures.
Initially, the program subsidized the costs for April and May, but the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan decided to continue the program, as long as catering establishments remained closed to visitors. As a result, compensation under the program could be received for 4 months (from April to July).
