Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to Nurlatskiy district

The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to the Nurlatskiy municipal district today. He examined the production enterprises of the district and met with representatives of the business community of the district.

Firstly, accompanied by the Head of the district Almaz Akhmetshin, the Minister of Economy visited the Tyurnyasevo industrial site. 4 residents operate on its territory. According to the results of the first quarter of 2020, the volume of their products increased by 7.5 million rubles compared to the same period last year and amounted to 12.3 million rubles.

Also Midkhat Shagiakhmetov visited the construction site of the universal sports complex with a swimming pool “Tulpar”. The facility is now in its final stages of construction, its opening is scheduled for September this year. Up to 900 residents of the Nurlatskiy district may visit the sports complex per day, which contributes to the formation of a comfortable environment for life, regardless of where they live.

After that, the Minister visited the Children’s Art School, located on the renovated K. Marx street. Then the Minister of Economy and the Head of the district took part in the grand opening of a universal sports ground and a children's play complex on the territory of the Grani Cultural and Entertainment Center. These objects contribute to the development of the creative and sports potential of the younger generation. Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted that implementation of programs for the overhaul of health care facilities, school buildings, village clubs, summer camps for children, along with projects for the development of public spaces, parks and squares and the Our Yard program, make life of Tatarstan residents more comfortable and prosperous.

As part of the trip, the Minister of Economy held a meeting with entrepreneurs of the district. Nurlat entrepreneurs were interested in the issue of adopting new regional support measures and unsecured provision of loans for SMEs. The Minister said that it is planned to launch an additional package of republican support measures in the near future.

“The new measures will be designed for the widest possible audience of entrepreneurs. Organizations and individual entrepreneurs from the real sector of economy that implement investment projects, residents and management companies of industrial parks, export-oriented entities, public catering organizations, as well as students and graduates of universities will be able to receive support”, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov emphasized.

After meeting with representatives of the business community, the Minister of Economy visited the meat processing shop on the territory of Nurlat-Set OOO. The company specializes in the breeding of dairy cattle breeds, the production of raw milk and dairy products.

Fanis Valeyev, the Head of Nulat-Set, said that today the number of employees employed at the enterprise is 208 people. At the end of last year, production was expanded, a new workshop for the preparation of meat, production of meat and sausages, delicacies, vacuum products, semi-finished products and other types of meat products was put into operation.

At the end of the working trip, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov visited the Promservice enterprise. It is a modern, dynamically developing engineering company that manufactures tank equipment and trailers for oilfield service companies. The company has at its disposal production facilities and capacities that allow it to fulfill orders for the production of equipment and metal structures of any complexity and volume at a high technical level within a time frame acceptable to the customer.

During the visit, the Minister was presented with an investment project aimed at expanding the production area and the nomenclature units produced by the enterprise. The project cost is estimated at 200 million rubles, the total area is 12.5 hectares. The project will be considered for submission to the Investment Memorandum, which annually includes 200 priority projects for the development of the republic's potential.
