The International Fund for Technological Development was formed

In connection with the Decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, a new industrial support institute, the International Fund for Technological Development, was formed and launched. The Fund’s activities are aimed at supporting projects for the transfer of technological solutions and localization of industries created on their basis.

The Fund has identified the following thematic areas:

1. Advanced mechanical engineering and instrumentation

2. Production of goods of socially significant industries

3. Technologies of resource saving

The Fund has started the selection of projects within the framework of the Direct Investments in the Russian Federation program, which involves the provision of financing by entering into the capital of project companies.

Key conditions for participation in the Program: the presence of an applicant (a Russian company) that undertakes obligations for the transfer of technology and its localization on the territory of the Russian Federation; the amount of support from the Fund - from 300 million rubles up to 1000 million rubles; the Fund’s share in the project company - up to 49%; yield - the key rate of the Bank of Russia, increased by 2 percentage points.

Financing funds for projects received from the Fund within the framework of this Program can be used to purchase objects of civil rights (results of intellectual activity), specialized equipment from technology copyright holders, as well as the engineering required to adapt technologies.
