Residents of industrial parks and sites created over 30,000 jobs

“By the 100th anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, in accordance with the Message of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, in order to create conditions for the development of entrepreneurial activity, 100 industrial parks and industrial sites have been created, the residents of which form more than 10% of the total industrial production of Tatarstan”, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the implementation of support programs and the creation of conditions for the conduct and development of entrepreneurial activity in the republic.

Today, 1,484 resident companies work in Tatarstan at 80 industrial sites and 20 industrial parks, they have created more than 30,000 jobs.

“It is worth noting that the largest industrial park in Europe, KIP Master, operates in the Republic of Tatarstan. The total area of ​​the park is 1.4 million square meters. Today the number of residents is about 300 units. They have created more than 10,000 jobs in the field of mechanical engineering, production of spare parts and components, equipment, etc.”, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said.

The Ministry of Economy is actively working to attract new entrepreneurs and investors to industrial sites.

Residents of industrial facilities get access to ready-made production facilities, ready-made transport and engineering infrastructure. Also, residents can rent or sell land plots, premises and infrastructure facilities. Residents are provided with electricity, heat, gas, water, provision of logistics and telecommunications services.

In addition, residents receive benefits in terms of free connection to engineering networks, preferences in obtaining state support and tax benefits.

“Also, as part of the anti-crisis support measures, industrial parks were provided with installments and discounts to residents who suffered from the introduction of a special epidemiological regime. In total, the parks provided a deferral for rent payments to 147 residents with a total of more than 6 thousand jobs created”, the Minister said.

Within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”, the implementation of a two-year project for the construction of an industrial park on the territory of the Technopolis “Khimgrad” continues. Currently, 4 industrial buildings with a total area of ​​more than 15 thousand square meters have been built. These objects have already been put into operation and for 80% are filled with residents. 5 buildings with total area of more than 16 thousand square meters are under construction in 2020. The objects will be commissioned in the first quarter of 2021. Totally within the framework of this project, 9 buildings with area of more than 33 thousand square meters will be constructed.
