“Another mechanism in the search for new markets and sales directions for the products of our producers is the Export Support Center subordinate to the Ministry of Economy”, Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov told reporters today at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers.
The center was created in July 2012 in order to support exporters from among small and medium-sized businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan. The aim of the center is to provide free support for entrepreneurs at all stages of export activities. During the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”, the Center exported 115 companies, as a result of which contracts were concluded for the amount of USD 25 million.
In turn, the Ministry of Economy, together with the largest e-commerce sites, conducts training for entrepreneurs of the republic on the placement and sale of products on the Internet, allowing them to find buyers outside the Republic and the country. The crisis caused by the pandemic accelerated the growth rate of e-commerce and made this area one of the most promising and voluminous distribution channels.
