The Ministry of Economy summed up the results of licensing work for the 1st half of 2020

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of licensing the procurement, storage, processing and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, sums up the results for the first half of 2020.

Currently, there is a positive trend in the procurement, storage, processing and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap.

 Since the beginning of this year, the number of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in these activities has increased by 3, the number of points for the procurement and processing of scrap metal by 16.

Thus, today the register of licenses includes 148 legal entities and individual entrepreneurs operating in 486 points of procurement and processing of scrap metal. At the same time, the distribution of their locations is traditionally tied to large industrial areas and railway stations. So, in Kazan there are 140 scrap collection points, in Naberezhnye Chelny - 79 points, in Almetyevsk and Almetyevskiy municipal district - 37 points, in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamskiy municipal district - 27 points.

In total, in the 1st half of 2020, 79 inspections were carried out, 69 of which were unscheduled according to the applications of license applicants, licensees, 7 were planned according to the approved schedule for 2020 (period January-March 2020), 3 were unscheduled according to the execution of instructions issued based on the results conducting scheduled inspections.

Pursuant to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 438 as of April 3, 2020 “On specifics of implementation in 2020 of state control (supervision), municipal control and on amending paragraph 7 of the Rules for the preparation of annual plans by state control (supervision) bodies and municipal control bodies conducting scheduled inspections of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs” in Tatarstan in relation to enterprises licensed for this type of activity, 15 scheduled inspections scheduled for April-December 2020 were canceled.
