The first online meeting of social entrepreneurs was held in Tatarstan

More than 40 social entrepreneurs took part in the event.

On July 9, the first online meeting of social entrepreneurs took place in Tatarstan. The event was held within the framework of the virtual exhibition “Micro factories. Kazan. Online”. The event was organized by the Center for Social Innovations (CSI) and the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Center, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Within the framework of the meeting, 3 sections worked, in which the participants shared their experience in implementing social projects, discussed programs to support social entrepreneurship in Russia and Tatarstan, entry into the List of Social Enterprises, mechanisms for involving the commercial sector in solving social problems, educational and acceleration programs. One of the speakers was a Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, a member of the Expert Council for the development of social entrepreneurship under the profile committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, founder of the “Good Deeds Day” charitable foundation Rustem Khasanov.

In the section “Social Entrepreneurship: Ideas Implemented”, the participants talked about what helps them to develop. “Social business benefits society, the region, the city, - the participants noted. - But this is still a business and you need to be able to earn money, build business models and operational processes”.

Salavat Galeyev, speaker of Kazan Federal University for the program “Mechanisms for increasing the business activity of non-profit organizations”, emphasized that social business uses the same tools and mechanisms as ordinary business, from analyzing the target audience and competitors, ending with “tasty” packaging and promotion using tools digital marketing.

Entrepreneurs and interested parties discussed the interaction of social entrepreneurs and NPOs, foundations, as well as partnerships with large businesses and authorities.

Thus, Victoria Rakhimova, founder of the Technoclass network of robotics and invention clubs, was able to receive an interest-free loan from the Fund for Regional Social Programs “Our Future” and a preferential microloan from the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Also, the participants of the meeting discussed specialized educational and acceleration programs: short-term training programs, in particular, for people with disabilities, training programs for mentors in the social sphere, implemented by the University of Talents, programs of additional professional education, which are conducted by the Center for Social Development of the Republic of Tatarstan in conjunction with the Kazan Federal University.

As a result of the event, it was decided to formulate proposals on possible support measures that could be implemented at the regional and federal levels in addition to the existing ones, as well as to hold a meeting in person.
