Non-profit organizations from Tatarstan can take part in the contest of the Presidential Grants Fund to combat COVID

Acceptance of applications for presidential grants competition, aimed at supporting socially oriented NPOs during the period of combating COVID-19 continues. You can apply on the organization’s website until July 15, 2020.

In the framework of the competition, NPOs from Tatarstan can receive financial support, which help especially vulnerable social groups: the older generation, people with disabilities or serious illnesses, as well as low-income, large families, single-parent families and families with coronavirus-infected children with disabilities. Also, target groups of NPO projects can be doctors, social workers and volunteers.

Let us recall that in Tatarstan, as part of the infrastructure support of NPOs, there are inter-municipal resource centers that provide training, consulting and support for the activities of NPOs under the state program “Economic Development and Innovative Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014–2024”, supervised by the Ministry of Economy. You can also turn to the resource center for help in preparing applications for participation in the competition, for examination of the project and its information support.

Applications for the grant are accepted until July 15, 2020 in three areas: “Social services, social support and protection of citizens”, “Protecting citizens' health, promoting a healthy lifestyle” and “Supporting families, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood”. Winners will be announced on August 31.

Grants received by NPOs can be used to pay employees, purchase personal protective equipment, conduct medical examinations, rent premises, transport costs, as well as direct assistance to those in need.
