The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is actively working to formulate proposals for inclusion in the Republican Action Plan
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is actively working on discussing and finalizing the Republican Action Plan, which will ensure the restoration of employment and incomes, economic growth and long-term structural changes. Proposals for inclusion in the Republican Action Plan were presented in the framework of the traditional weekly meeting chaired by Midkhat Shagiakhmetov. The event, which took place via videoconference, was attended by members of the working group to ensure sustainable development of the economy of the Republic, all municipalities of Tatarstan, as well as representatives of relevant ministries and departments.
Currently, the draft National Action Plan is being actively discussed at all levels of government, including with participation of business, public organizations and enterprises. The main objective of the Plan will be the restoration of the economy, access to a stable growth trajectory and an increase in household incomes. It is planned to approve the document before July 1 of this year. In accordance with instructions of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N.Minnikhanov, together with the branch ministries and departments of Tatarstan, a draft Republican Action Plan for implementation of the National Action Plan is being developed. As part of execution of the assignment, meetings with representatives of public organizations, business community, and enterprises will be held by ministries in supervised areas to discuss proposals for inclusion in the Republican Action Plan.
The members of the working group also discussed ensuring the entry of enterprises and organizations of municipalities to the pre-crisis level and their participation in federal support measures. So, in the Baltasinskiy district, the loading of enterprises is at the level of the pre-crisis period, which is due to its agricultural specifics, the only exceptions are public catering enterprises. The suspension of activity of the main large enterprises of the district was not introduced, and therefore, a decrease in production volumes was not observed. In the Kukmorskiy district, a stable situation is also observed in the agricultural sector. A similar situation can be seen in the Leninogorskiy district. Currently, many enterprises, including system-forming and individual entrepreneurs, are reaching the pre-crisis level and are operating normally.
As for the participation of municipal enterprises in obtaining support measures, more than 90% of SMEs and individual entrepreneurs in the Menzelinskiy district of the Republic, submitted applications to the tax inspectorate for subsidies in the amount of minimum wages in April 2020, 74% of the business community from affected industries - in May. In turn, in Kukmorskiy district, 347 SMEs were included in the list of affected industries. In April-May, they filed 603 applications for support. Work to inform the business in this area will continue. The main task of the Ministry of Economy is the issue of targeted communication of a set of support measures to those enterprises that can apply for them.
