The Russian government has expanded the list of the sectors most affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The list was supplemented by enterprises manufacturing folk art crafts, as well as trade enterprises through vending machines.
All industries recognized as the most affected by the new coronavirus infection can be found here.
Let us recall that on April 3, the Government approved a list of industries that felt the most negative crisis impacts more than others. Initially, the list of affected industries included: automobile and air transportation; fitness activities and sports; tourist industry and hotels; public catering; additional education; organization of conferences and exhibitions; activities for the provision of domestic services to the population; culture, leisure and entertainment. Museums and zoos were included in the latter category at the end of April, and retail sales of non-food items were added to the list.
It is anticipated that the expansion of the list will continue. In general, today there is no sphere that would not be affected by the consequences of the crisis.
Also, by a separate Decree, the Government of the Russian Federation reduced the requirements for applicants for state support in the form of subsidies in the amount of the minimum wage for the payment of wages for each employee. According to the decree, state support is allowed for debts on taxes and contributions of not more than 3,000 rubles. When calculating the amount of the arrears, information on its repayment available with the tax authority at the date of submission of the application for the grant of subsidies is used.
The change also affected the requirement on retaining up to 90% of the staff. A different definition was added to it, namely, regarding the decrease in the number of units with the wording: “or reduced by no more than 1 person”, whereas previously the prerequisite was to maintain the number at 90% of the staff as of March 1. Now the number of employees must be either at least 90%, or can be reduced by no more than 1 person. Thus, the new condition allows you to receive a subsidy, including for very small companies that dismissed only one employee.
