The branch ministries of the Republic need to ensure the monitoring of the financial and economic indicators of activities of systemically important enterprises and organize the work for them to receive federal support measures. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Oleg Pelevin at the daily meeting of the working group on implementation of the plan for sustainable development of the economy of the Republic. The event was held in a video conference mode with participation of urban districts and municipal districts. Aznakayevskiy and Kaibitskiy districts presented their reports to the working group. Another topic of discussion was the expansion of the interest-free loan program for remuneration of labor for medium and large enterprises of affected sectors of the economy.

“Today, loans of up to 3 billion rubles are available for systemically important enterprises in Russia for a period of up to 12 months at a rate not exceeding 5% per annum. The company can use preferential loans to replenish working capital, to purchase raw materials and components, which will allow timely fulfillment of obligations on orders and shipment of products. That is why it is so important for branch ministries to convey to companies information on all existing mechanisms for supporting large enterprises in a crisis, monitor their activities, recognize and respond to needs”, said Oleg Pelevin, Deputy Minister of Economy.

Currently, the Republic is in 6th place in terms of the number of backbone enterprises in Russia. 24 organizations from Tatarstan are included in the register. Moreover, taking into account the enterprises included in the group of companies, 102 organizations of the Republic are present in the list.

So, for example, the backbone enterprises of the Aznakayevskiy district are enterprises of the Tatneft system. According to the company itself, the production line operates as usual, and specialists from the management apparatus work on remote access. Also, food-producing enterprises continue to operate, these are the Aznakayevskiy bakery and mini-bakeries, there are 6 such bakeries in the district. The Aznakayevskaya sewing factory, which is currently reoriented to make disposable masks and protective suits, began to work in a more intense mode.

In turn, in the Kaibitskiy district, catering enterprises continue to work remotely and on delivery. At the same time, the delivery of ready meals and convenience foods is free. In addition, confectionery products produced by municipal catering enterprises are sold through local retail facilities throughout the district.

During the meeting of the working group, they also discussed the expansion of the interest-free loans program for remuneration of labor, now the program also extends to medium and large enterprises included in the list of the sectors most affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Medium and large companies that have received loans should maintain the employment at least 90% of the number of employees in March, which will certainly have a positive effect on reducing the unemployment rate in the Republic.

Further reports will be made by: Aksubayevskiy and Vysokogorskiy districts.
