Levitta OOO will deliver to the Republican Clinical Hospital 3D-printed 500 medical masks.

Today, entrepreneurs from Kazan held a charity event. They donated reusable medical masks printed on a 3D printer to the Republican Clinical Hospital.

As the Director of the company Artur Mamayev noted, at the moment about 2.5 thousand masks have already been made. 500 masks and 50 thousand filters will be delivered in the RCH.

According to the entrepreneur, masks are made of biodegradable and environmentally friendly material - polylactide, which is made from sugar cane and corn. Filters are made of the same materials that are used in disposable masks and medical supplies.

Previously, the company was engaged in production of levitating objects - it made advertising structures. However, during the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection Covid-19, Levitta decided to print masks and filters for doctors and staff of Tatarstan hospitals on a 3D printer.

On April 18, entrepreneurs provided the same support to the Central District Hospital of Elabuga. They transferred 150 reusable masks and 45,000 replaceable filters.

The charity event, as noted by the organizers, will continue. The plans of the entrepreneurs are to provide all doctors in Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan with masks of their own production.
