The Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a regular meeting in the video broadcast mode as part of implementation of the Plan for ensuring sustainable development of the economy of the republic. Yesterday, the heads of the Mendeleyevskiy, Novosheshminskiy and Zelenodolskiy districts submitted their reports to the interdepartmental working group. The Head of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan drew attention to the work in conditions of the global crisis of system-forming enterprises in the districts and the need to provide residents of remote settlements with food and essential goods for the Tatarstan people to observe self-isolation.
Let us recall that the working groups for implementation of anti-crisis measures operate in 43 municipal districts and two urban districts of Tatarstan. Meetings are held on a daily basis for continuous interaction between representatives of all branches of government who are responsible for supporting the region’s economy during the period of the viral pandemic and the global crisis caused by it.
Yesterday, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed with the heads of districts the work of systemically important and socially significant enterprises. So, in Zelenodolskiy district production and service companies continued their work. At the same time, about 15% of the employees of these enterprises were transferred to remote work while maintaining wages.
“Ammonium” AO is referred to system-forming enterprises of the Mendeleyevskiy district. The company also continues to operate normally, the entire staff goes to work - it is 1,273 people. Products are shipped to customers in full in compliance with all conditions of contracts. Provision of production with raw materials is carried out as planned.
The basis of the economy of the Novosheshminskiy district is the oil industry: six oil companies carry out development works in the territory, some of which are transferred to remote work. Dismissal of staff is not planned.
Municipalities also maintain strict control over the dynamics in the sector of small and medium enterprises, regularly inform business representatives about possible support from the state. A feedback system has been created: entrepreneurs can submit their proposals for consideration by the local administration to minimize the negative consequences of the crisis in the SME sector. Authorities of the republic are implementing in Tatarstan the entire range of support measures and best practices for maintaining the viability of business, which are applied today in other Russian entities equally affected by global negative economic trends.
In the Mendeleyevsky district, there is a “hot line” and a support service for entrepreneurs through messengers, they have received more than 200 requests since the introduction of the self-isolation regime. Half of them are associated with the timing of the resumption of work. In Zelenodolskiy district, ongoing online meetings are held with entrepreneurs to jointly develop anti-crisis measures to support business.
Daily dynamics of growth in consumer prices is monitored in the districts, each price fluctuation is recorded by the executive committees of the municipalities, after which the antimonopoly service is informed. Also, district executive committees monitor the availability of essential goods on store shelves. Outlets operate uninterruptedly, and there is no shortage of products in any of the three districts. Markings have been made in stores, requiring customers to maintain an acceptable distance sanitary treatment of the premises is carried out to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
In those settlements where there are no stationary shops, an itinerant trading system is organized. A consumer cooperative visits twice a week three settlements of the Novosheshminskiy district, importing food and essential goods. The measure was introduced to ensure that residents comply with the self-isolation regime and prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Tatarstan.
