Rating of socio-economic development of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-February 2020

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan compiled a monthly rating of the socio-economic development of municipalities and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-February 2020.

In the general rating for January-February 2020, the leading positions were occupied by Kazan (1st place), Almetyevskiy (2nd place) and Laishevskiy (3rd place) municipal districts.

Muslyumovskiy and Sabinskiy municipal districts rose in the ranking by 5 positions. These changes are due to a decrease in unemployment, an increase in the area of ​​residential buildings put into operation.

On a per capita basis, the volume of shipped products on average in the republic amounted to 111.02 thousand rubles, among the municipalities of the republic the highest results for this indicator in Almetyevskiy (784.1 thousand rubles), Nizhnekamskiy (302.2 thousand rubles) and Novosheshminskiy (238.3 thousand rubles) municipal districts.

As of March 1, 2020, the registered unemployment rate in the republic was 0.61%. In 33 municipalities, this indicator is below the national average.

The lowest unemployment rate was registered in Aktanyshskiy (0.15%), Alekseyevskiy and Laishevskiy (0.22% each) municipal districts.

In January-February 2020, 0.148 square meters of the total housing area per capita was commissioned in the Republic of Tatarstan. The largest housing area per capita was introduced in Pestrechinskiy (1.894 square meters), Laishevskiy (0.790 square meters) and Vysokogorskiy (0.618 square meters) municipal districts.
