Development of social projects was discussed in Almetyevsk and Leninogorsk
In order to assist in development of social entrepreneurs and socially oriented non-profit organizations (SO NPO) in the republic, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Resource Center for Support of SO NPO held round tables on topic “Social design, activities and measures to support social projects”.
Events took place today in Almetyevsk and Leninogorsk. Representatives of SO NPOs, social entrepreneurs, representatives of territorial self-government and people interested in developing their social projects and cooperation with non-profit non-governmental organizations took part in the round tables.
Within the framework of the program, it was possible to discuss the analysis of business activity of social entrepreneurs and SO NPOs of the south-eastern zone of the republic, the role of resource centers in development of the social sector, as well as support measures and educational programs for the social sector existing in Tatarstan. The issues of the legal basis of activity, fundamentals of grant-writing, information and financial reporting were raised.
Special attention was paid to topical issues of interaction with authorities, the business community, public councils and organizations, budgetary institutions, and initiative citizens. They also told social entrepreneurs about information openness, as well as opportunities to receive income from their activities.
Participation is free, the event was supported by the Kazan (Volga-Region) Federal University, the Republican Resource Center for Support of SO NPOs, the “Vertical” Resource Center, the Center for Innovative Development and Technology Transfer, the Center for Social Innovation of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chief Advisor to the Department of Public Initiatives of Central Executive Committee of the All-Russian Popular Front.
