The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Center for Innovation of Social Sphere of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, together with KFU, implements an educational program for unemployed citizens who plan to open their own business with subsidized support from the Employment Center.

In the first week of spring, the regular educational course “Business Planning in Entrepreneurial Activities” was completed. The project was launched in 2017 to support and popularize entrepreneurship, as well as to create new jobs and reduce the number of unemployed in the republic. Tatarstan citizens, registered at the Employment Centers and undergone training, may apply for a subsidy for starting and running their own business.

Let us recall that since 2019 the amount of such subsidies has increased to 145,100 rubles, which opens up additional opportunities for starting a business. In addition, when evaluating projects, special attention is paid to the social orientation of business, in terms of creating additional jobs to ensure the employment of disabled people, parents with many children, parents raising disabled children, women with children under the age of three, and projects are evaluated according to such parameter as environmental safety.

As part of the training course, future businessmen got acquainted with both the theory of entrepreneurial business and its practical component, met with a consultant in accounting and taxation, a marketer, and current entrepreneurs. Representatives of the entrepreneurial community spoke about the features of formation and development of a business using the example of their own experience. They shared useful life hacks, and touched on the topics of possible difficulties that one way or another arise in the process of establishing a business.

Public protection of business projects was held in the House of Entrepreneur. Upon completion of training, students were awarded certificates of KFU, confirming the course completion. Now they have to take part in the expert councils of the Employment Centers, where they will compete for a subsidy and opportunity to start their own business.
