The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, as the coordinator of project activities in the republic, announced the launch of two regional projects. Namely “Clean Country” and “Preservation of Unique Water Bodies”, which are part of the national project “Ecology”.
Let us recall that in 2019 Tatarstan took an active part in 48 federal projects, for the implementation of which 27.4 billion rubles were allocated, including 20 billion rubles from the federal budget, 7.4 billion rubles from the republican budget. Since 2020, Tatarstan has launched two more regional projects aimed at eliminating the most dangerous objects of accumulated environmental damage.
This year, through the implementation of the “Clean Country” regional project, it is planned to eliminate the unauthorized landfill in the Prosti village of the Nizhnekamskiy municipal district and to restore land with oil-containing pollution in the Shemordan village of the Sabinskiy municipal district. It is planned to spend 740.4 million rubles on implementation of regional projects, including 430 million rubles from the federal budget.
In addition, within the framework of the regional project “Preservation of Unique Water Objects”, it is planned to carry out a set of measures to clean up 2 thousand km of the coastal strip of water bodies with the involvement of population of the republic in solving this issue and with assistance of volunteer movement.
